Eurovision Song Contest 2007

William Mangion will participate at this year’s Malta Song for Europe festival with the new song, Forever Mine. He will perform the ballad during the semi-final of the festival in February in a bid to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Finland.

Forever Mine was written by guitarist Aldo Spiteri, formerly of Lord Adder and a popular face on the notorious Red TV programme. Spiteri also wrote the lyrics along with T. Fenech.

I don't wanna loose it
I'll be patient with myself
I'm trying to figure it out
Oh baby try to understand
Your love will save me
If we once we'll have a chance
I know, we`ll be as one.

Chorus:
I wanna love you
For all my life
I wanna hold you
Until I die
There'll be no angels
There'll be no lies
These words will make you
Forever mine

You are amazing
Like you there's no one else
With out you by my side
There is no happiness
I guarantee you
That love will never ends
I Know, we`ll be as one

Chorus:
I wanna love you
For all my life
I wanna hold you
Until I die
There'll be no angels
There'll be no lies
These words will make you
Forever mine

I will be there for you
That's the only thing oh baby I would ever do…
I ever do

Chorus:
I wanna love you
For all my life
I wanna hold you
Until I die
There'll be no angels
There'll be no lies
These words will make you
Forever mine

Forever mine

Eurovision Song Contest 1993

The 38th Eurovision Song Contest was staged in Millstreet, County Cork, Ireland on 15th May 1993. The venue, the Euro-Dome became the focus for the crème de la crème of Europe's talent throughout Eurovision week.

William Mangion, Malta's popular representative, placed 8th (many felt he deserved better) with his popular song, written by his own lyrics and music, »THIS TIME«. The Irish really took to the Maltese delegation, describing them as the most outgoing and fun of the Eurovision, bestowing upon them the honorary title of "The Irish of the Mediterranean", which must count as being the ultimate compliment of all - after all.

Although winning is nice, it's the taking part that counts. William may not have brought back the Eurovision Crown but he made a lot of friends and endeared the Maltese nation to the Irish with his enthusiasm and hard work.
